Purana Food Products

Our place is 321, Sri Ram Road, which is just off Trichy Road in Kannampalayam. We’ve been operating as Purana Food Products for a while now. It’s a decent sized building and we use most of it for the food stuff we handle. Being near Trichy Road makes it easy for the trucks to come and go, though the dust from the road can be a bit much during the dry months. We spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces because you have to keep things tidy when you work with food. It’s not a glamorous job. Mostly it involves a lot of weighing and sealing and checking labels. We have a small crew and most of them live nearby in Kannampalayam, so they walk or bike to work. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure the products are handled right before they leave 321, Sri Ram Road. Sometimes the machinery is a bit loud and makes it hard to talk, so we use hand signals. It’s a practical way of doing things. The building is painted a plain color and doesn't stand out much from the others on the street. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get through the day's orders and go home to our families without any fuss.
