Prabavathy Beauty Parlour

The parlor is on Katta Bomman Street in Ganapathy, shop number 31/1. We are quite close to Shiva Sakthi Medicals, which is how most people find us if they haven’t been here before. It’s a quiet street compared to the main road, but we still get a steady flow of people from around the neighborhood. I’ve lived in Coimbatore most of my life, so running this shop feels like being at home. We do a lot of traditional stuff, mostly for the women who live nearby. It’s not a very big shop, just a few chairs and some mirrors, but it works for us. I spend most of my day chatting with the regulars about their families while I’m doing their hair or skin treatments. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood run past the door and make a lot of noise. We keep a small water cooler in the corner for anyone who’s thirsty after walking in the sun. The shelves are filled with different creams and bottles that I’ve picked up over the months. I try to keep everything in its place, but when it gets busy, things tend to get a bit messy. By the end of the day, I’m usually quite tired, but it’s good to have a shop of my own. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic beauty services that people need and a place to talk for a while.
