Abhurva Impex

Abhurva Impex is located over at No. 9 Gurusamy Nagar in the Peelamedu area. If you know the neighborhood, it's a quiet enough street most of the time, though you get the usual sounds of people going about their business. We’ve been set up in this building for some time. It’s got enough room for what we need, which is mostly storage and a couple of small offices. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't quite gotten around to that yet. We're too busy with the day-to-day tasks. Most of the work involves keeping track of inventory and making sure the boxes are packed properly. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and talking to drivers. It isn't glamorous work. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle things around to make space. The lighting in the back isn't the best, so we use desk lamps to see what we're doing. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes we just watch the traffic for a minute while waiting for a call to go through. Peelamedu is a good spot for us because it's easy to get to. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address and our work. It’s a steady routine of opening up, sorting through the day’s tasks, and making sure everything is where it should be before we head home.
