You can find us at No. 190 Chettiyar Nagar, which is situated right off the Maruthamalai Main Road. If you are familiar with the Vadavalli Post area, you have probably driven past our door without even noticing us. It is a very busy part of Coimbatore. We have Thiruvalluvar Nagar just nearby, so there are always people and vehicles moving around at all hours. Asia Impex Coimbatore is basically just a small group of us working in a rented space. We deal with imports and exports, mostly things that local shops or small businesses need to get their hands on. The office often gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the main road, so we are constantly wiping down the desks and computer screens. It is a very simple setup. We have a few computers and some storage space in the back for the smaller items we handle. I usually spend my time handling the emails while the other guys check the incoming crates for any damage. It can get pretty loud when the heavy buses go rumbling by, but you get used to the noise after a week or two. We do not bother with any flashy advertising or big signs. Word usually travels around the neighborhood if you do the job right and don't overcharge people. We have had some very long days where shipments arrive late and we stay until dark to get everything sorted out. It is just how we make our living here.
