Padma Stores

Padma Stores is located at 9/6 on the Palladam Main Road in Chettipalayam. We are right near Balaji Tyres, so that is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Coimbatore is a big place, but Chettipalayam has its own feel. Our store is a typical local spot. We carry the kind of things you’d expect a neighborhood store to have. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the main road traffic, but we try to keep the place tidy. I’ve been running this for a while now. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people. We don't have any big slogans or marketing tricks. We just sell what people need for their daily lives. If someone needs a particular brand of soap or a certain type of grain, we try to stock it. It’s a simple life. We open when the sun comes up and close when it gets dark. Most of our customers are regulars who live just a few streets away. We know who likes what. It isn't a high-tech operation, just some ledgers and a cash box. We value the people who come here because they are our neighbors. Sometimes we run out of things, and we just tell people to come back tomorrow. That’s just how it goes in a small shop. We are happy to be here on Palladam Main Road and hope to stay for a long time.
