Op Public School

Op Public School is located at No 21 in Selvam Nagar, which is part of the Vadavalli area. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the city center. We like being tucked away here. The school building is straightforward, with classrooms lined up along the corridors. Every morning, we unlock the main gate and start the day. There’s always a bit of dust to sweep up from the porch. We don't have a giant staff; it’s just a few of us who look after the place. We spend a lot of time talking to parents at the gate or fixing small things that break. The playground is a simple patch of ground where the kids play during their breaks. We don't have any expensive play equipment, just the basics. It’s an honest way to run a school. Sometimes the rain makes the path a bit muddy, so we have to put down some gravel or mats. We aren't trying to impress anyone with flashy signs or big advertisements. We mostly rely on people in Vadavalli knowing we are here. Our desks are a bit old, and the chairs sometimes creak, but they do the job. We focus on the daily routine of lessons and lunch breaks. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it this way for a while now. We just want to keep the place running steadily for the families in Selvam Nagar.
