New Thendral Hairlines

New Thendral Hairlines is located at No 3/1, Railway Station Road in Ettimadai. It is right across from the ration shop, which is a big landmark for anyone living around here. Being near the railway station means we see a lot of people coming and going. Sometimes someone will run in for a quick shave before their train arrives, and other times it is just the locals who live in the houses nearby. The shop is quite simple. We have the usual mirrors and a couple of chairs that have been around for years. It is a quiet part of Coimbatore compared to the city center, but the sound of the trains passing by is something we have gotten used to. There is a small television in the corner that usually plays the news or some old movies to keep people occupied while they wait. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly on Saturdays, but we sweep it up when we can. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights. It is just a place where you can sit down, get your hair cut, and talk about the weather or the price of groceries at the shop across the street. We know most of the people who walk through the door, and they know us. It is just a regular part of the Ettimadai neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less than a local barber shop.
