Muvendar Travels

Muvendar Travels is situated at No 266 on 1st Street in Gandhipuram. We are tucked right behind the R R Hotel, which is a big help when we are trying to give people directions. Being on 1st Street means we are right in the thick of the travel hub in Coimbatore. There are buses and autos going by at all hours of the day. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a door and some windows with our name on them. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of phone calls. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and people looking for a ride to somewhere else in the state. It’s a fast-paced kind of job because everyone is always in a hurry. The noise from the hotel and the street can be a lot, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We keep some plastic chairs for customers and a big water jug in the corner because it gets so hot. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just have our phone number and this physical spot where people know they can find us. 1st Street is always dusty, especially in the afternoons, so we are always cleaning the desks. It’s just the way it goes here. We work until late most nights because that’s when a lot of the travel happens. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going.
