Mullakkodi Mopila Alp School

This is a small primary school located at No 7/41L White House on Kadambadi Road. We are based in Kangayampalayam, which is a quiet corner of Coimbatore. The 'White House' name is just what the building is called locally. It’s a place for the younger kids in the neighborhood to start their schooling. We have a few basic classrooms and some simple playground equipment outside. The kids come from the nearby houses, usually walking with their parents or siblings. It’s not a fancy private school with uniforms and buses. It’s just a local spot where the teachers know all the students by their first names. We have a small staff and we all help out with everything, from teaching to cleaning up after lunch. The building gets a bit of shade from the trees on Kadambadi Road, which is nice in the afternoons. Sometimes we have community events in the small courtyard, and the whole neighborhood shows up. It’s a bit disorganized at times, like any place full of children, but we manage. We don't have a big mission statement or a corporate office. We just make sure the kids have their books and a place to sit. It’s a humble school that has been serving the families here for years. We just keep doing our bit for the local community without making a big deal out of it.
