Mega Cranes India

Our yard is over at 2/8 2/9, Thelungu Palayam Road, Annur, Yellapalayam Po, out toward the edge of town. This is where we keep the big stuff for Mega Cranes India. If you like heavy machinery, this is the place to be. We have cranes of all sizes parked in the lot, and they take up a lot of room. It’s a gravel yard, so it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We’re out here every morning early, checking the cables and the engines. It’s a lot of physical work and we spend most of our time in work boots and heavy vests. The location in Annur is good because we have enough space to move the equipment around without hitting anything. We aren't the type of people who sit in offices all day. We’d rather be outside looking at a boom or checking a winch. We don't use a lot of fancy language to describe what we do. We lift things. That’s about it. It’s a serious job because you have to be careful with that much weight, but we keep the atmosphere pretty relaxed among the crew. We have our tea breaks together and talk about the jobs we’ve done around the state. It’s a solid, blue-collar life out here on Thelungu Palayam Road, and we’re proud of the machines we run and the work we do for people.
