We've been at No.345 Kumaran Road for a while now. It’s usually pretty loud around here because of all the traffic. Most days start early, unloading trucks full of steel rods and heavy hardware boxes. The floor is concrete and stays pretty dusty no matter how much we sweep it. We have a small desk tucked in the back where the paperwork gets piled up. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking noise, but we just ignore it. People come in looking for specific bolts or structural steel pieces, and we spend half the time climbing over things to find the right size. It's not a fancy place. There are stacks of inventory everywhere you look. Usually, there's a couple of us working the floor and someone on the phone. We get a lot of local builders stopping by. They park their bikes out front and we chat for a bit before getting to work. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep a water cooler near the entrance. Sometimes we run out of space and have to rearrange the whole yard. It's a lot of heavy lifting. We don’t really have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we move metal and gear from one place to another. Everyone knows where we are on Kumaran Road because of the big sign that’s slightly tilted now. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily orders as they come in. There’s always someone around to help with loading.
