Ravi Pipe Traders

Ravi Pipe Traders is located at No. 376 on Pankaja Mill Road, right across from the Pankaja Mills in Ramnathapuram. If you are looking for this place, just look for the stacks of pipes piled up near the entrance. We have all sorts of plumbing stuff, from heavy iron pipes to the plastic ones people use for their homes. The yard is usually a bit of a mess because we are always moving things around to get to the right size for a customer. Our hands stay pretty dirty most of the day from handling the metal and the grease. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the mill road. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the ledger. You can hear the noise from the mill across the street all day long. It gets loud. Local plumbers and construction guys are our main visitors. They stop by in their trucks, we load up what they need, and they go. We don't do much talking other than discussing the sizes and the prices. We have been in this same spot for years, and the building is starting to show its age. The sign outside is a bit faded, but everyone knows we are here. It’s just a plain old trade shop where we sell pipes and fittings to anyone who needs them for their work.
