You can find us over at 1/653 Tagore Nagar in Thiruppalai, which is right in the heart of Madurai. Mahindra Water Utilities Limited is basically about managing the pipes and the water flow for the local area. It is a lot of outdoor work and checking on various pieces of equipment in the sun. We have a small office here where the paperwork gets filed and organized, but most of the real stuff happens out at the sites. Madurai gets pretty hot during the day, so we are always busy making sure things are running like they should without any leaks. It isn't glamorous work at all. We deal with broken pipes, meter readings, and a lot of muddy boots at the end of a shift. The office at Tagore Nagar is where we regroup and have our morning meetings before heading out. Sometimes the trucks need repairs or we are stuck waiting on parts to arrive from another city. It’s a lot of logistical stuff that people don't really see when they turn on their taps. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks of water management for the community. We’ve been in this part of Thiruppalai for a bit now. Everyone here knows the routine and the sound of our trucks. We aren't trying to be some corporate giant, just a local utility team doing the day-to-day grind. There is always a logbook to fill out or a phone call to take about a pipe issue.
