Karunya Christian School

Karunya Christian School is right here in Karunya Nagar. If you know the Coimbatore area, you know it's a bit of a drive out to Karunyanagar but it's quiet. Most of us get here early before the sun gets too hot. The classrooms have big windows and you can hear the birds outside when the kids are doing their quiet reading. It isn't a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and the hallways get a bit loud during the lunch break. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the doors wider to get a breeze. Coimbatore weather can be unpredictable, so we keep a lot of umbrellas near the main entrance just in case. The staff room is usually full of half-finished tea cups and piles of notebooks that need checking. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids are where they need to be. There is a small playground in the back where the grass grows too fast during the rainy season. People around here just call us the school at Karunya Nagar. It feels like a small community because we see the same parents every morning at the gate. It's just a regular school day for us most of the time, nothing too exciting happens but we keep things moving along.
