Karthika Beauty Parlour

Karthika Beauty Parlour is situated at No 341 on Puliyakulam Main Road. We are in the Ramanathapuram area of Coimbatore, very close to the Mariyamman Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our shop during certain times of the day. It’s a local spot that caters mainly to the women living in this part of the city. We do a lot of basic beauty work, like threading, waxing, and hair cuts. The shop is small and a bit old-fashioned, but it’s clean and we know what we’re doing. We don't use flashy advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. Someone tells their neighbor, and then they come in. It’s been that way since we opened. We try to keep our prices fair because we know people work hard for their money. On festival days, the whole road gets very crowded because of the temple, so it’s usually our busiest time. We just keep working through the day, taking one customer at a time. It’s a simple life running a parlor here. We enjoy the conversations we have with the ladies who visit. Some have been coming to us for a decade or more. We just provide a straightforward service without any unnecessary extras. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where the door is usually propped open to let the breeze in when it is not too dusty.
