Bk Sashan Lifecare Ltd. is over at 3/6 Nethaji Street in Ondipudur. Gandhinagar is a pretty active area with people moving about all the time. Our day usually gets going around nine in the morning. We have a lot of stuff to manage because of the lifecare side of things. It’s mostly rows of cabinets and shelves filled with supplies. The office itself is quite plain, just a place for us to sit and handle the phone calls and the documents that pile up. Nethaji Street has its own specific rhythm. By mid-morning, the traffic outside is loud enough that we have to close the windows. The building we are in has been around for some years and it shows in some of the corners. We spend a lot of time checking lists and talking to people who drop by with questions. We try to be helpful, though it can get a bit frantic when three deliveries arrive at the same time. The air conditioning is a life saver since the Ondipudur sun is no joke. No one here wears anything too formal. We just wear what works for moving around and staying cool. By the time evening rolls around, Gandhinagar starts to quiet down a little and we wrap things up for the day. It’s a practical environment for the kind of work we do. We are just local people working on Nethaji Street, doing what needs to get done.
