Jeff Ice Cream

Jeff Ice Cream is located right at No : 126, Ek Street, just off Masjid Road in the Ukkadam area. It’s a very lively and loud part of the city with a whole lot of foot traffic every single day. We’ve been here serving the local community for some time now and it's become a routine. The shop itself is quite small, but we make sure the coolers are always working right so nothing melts. People coming back from the main market often stop in to cool off for a few minutes. It gets quite noisy outside with the traffic and the street vendors, but inside the shop it’s a bit calmer. I usually handle the counter myself or have a cousin help me out when the shop gets really packed with people. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the things that the local people here like the most. Dealing with the intense heat in Ukkadam means we have to stay on top of our stock constantly. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and that's always a bit of a headache for a business like ours. We just do our daily work and try to keep everyone happy with a simple cold treat. A lot of kids from the nearby schools come by in the late afternoon. They always have a lot of energy and know exactly what they want to buy. It’s a very straightforward and honest business. We buy the supplies and sell them to whoever walks in.
