Jayam Travels

Jayam Travels is over at No 40/132 on Balaji Nagar Road in Gandhipuram. We are right in the New Sidhapudur area, and if you are looking for us, we are directly opposite Ramakrishna Hospital. That hospital is a huge landmark, so usually, nobody gets lost trying to find us. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our files and answer the phone calls. The street outside can get quite crowded with people visiting the hospital or just passing through Coimbatore. We have been working from this spot for a while now. Most days are pretty much the same. We talk to drivers, check on the cars, and make sure the schedules are mostly on time. Sometimes there is a delay because of the road work or traffic, and we have to explain that to whoever is waiting. We don't have any polished marketing speeches to give. We just tell people the prices and the times. It is a bit of a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We keep some plastic chairs for people to sit while we get their tickets or paperwork ready. It’s a bit dusty because of the main road, but we try to keep the place tidy. We are just local people running a travel business for the neighbors and anyone else who drops by. It is not fancy, but it gets the job done every day.
