Jai Saradha Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Jai Saradha Matriculation Higher Secondary School sits right on the Ring Road in the 15 Velampalayam area of Tirupur. Being on the Ring Road means there is always a bit of traffic passing by, but once you go inside the gates, it gets a bit quieter. The school has a decent amount of space for the students. We have been here for a good number of years now. Most of our students come from the local families who work in the textile industries nearby. It’s a hardworking neighborhood. The school building is divided into sections for the younger kids and the higher secondary students. We have the basic science labs and a computer room that the older kids use. The playground is mostly dirt and sand, which is common around here, and the kids play football or cricket during their breaks. The teachers are usually busy marking papers in the staff room when they aren't in class. We don’t use any complicated systems, just the regular chalk and board method mostly. The stairs are a bit narrow in the old wing, so the students have to walk in lines. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in when it’s windy, so we are always sweeping the floors. It’s just a regular school where kids come to learn their lessons and get through their exams. We keep things simple and try to make sure everyone follows the rules while they are here. The morning assembly is held in the open courtyard.
