Hsbc

This Hsbc branch is tucked away in the H.V.F Estate in Avadi, Chennai. It is in Type Ii, 66/1. Most people who live around here know the estate well. It is a bit far from the main city center but we like it that way because it is quieter. We handle a lot of paperwork every single day. Some of us have been working at this location for years. We know the guards and the tea sellers outside. The building itself is nothing special to look at. Inside it is just desks and filing cabinets. We deal with numbers and forms mostly. In the mornings, you can hear the birds because there are still some trees left in this part of Avadi. During the monsoon, the roads around here can get a bit muddy but we still show up. We have a small lunch room where we sit and talk about normal things like cricket or what we are having for dinner. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment in the way people think. We are just regular people doing a regular job. We try to be helpful when someone walks through the door with a question. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator. It is just a standard office life for us here in Chennai 6000054. We just keep our heads down and work.
