We are over at Office No A-17 right in the Omni Bus Stand area. If you know Gandhipuram, you know how busy Sathy Main Road gets. It is right near the bridge. Most days start early here because buses are always coming and going. We keep the doors open for anyone walking by who needs to ask about a trip. It gets dusty with all the traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of Coimbatore. Sometimes the office feels small when a whole family comes in at once. We have been sitting in this same spot for a while now. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and tea cups. We talk to the drivers, check the schedules, and try to keep things moving. There is no fancy waiting room or anything, just some chairs and the sound of the bus horns outside. People usually find us because they are already at the stand looking for a way to get to the next town. It is a lot of repetitive work, writing down names and checking dates. The bridge nearby always has cars backed up in the evening. We stay until the last few buses leave. It is just a regular local business trying to handle the crowd. You see the same faces every week, mostly people heading home or going for work. That is basically our day-to-day life here.
