Our office is right across from NK Vision on Paneer Selvam Salai. It is a very busy spot in KK Nagar and there is always a lot of traffic and noise right outside the door. Inside, it is mostly just us handling the day-to-day stuff people need for their houses and their money. People come in with folders full of documents, often looking a bit stressed about buying a new place or trying to sort out their accounts. We spend a lot of our time checking signatures and making sure all the numbers add up correctly on the forms. It is a lot of sitting and typing, to be honest. Some days the coffee machine works and some days it does not, which makes the mornings a bit slower for everyone. We know most of the regulars who walk past every day and sometimes they pop their heads in just to say hello. It is not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and a few chairs for people to wait their turn. We try to get through the files as fast as we can, but these things take time and there is always more paperwork than you expect. It is just a normal job in a normal part of Chennai. We keep the AC running because the heat gets pretty bad in the afternoon. If you are looking for the office, just look for the sign near the vision shop. (250 words)
