Hcl At Chennai

This is the spot where we work for Hcl at Chennai, but we are actually located up at the 110V Sub Station Power House Quarters in Kotagiri. It is a bit of a different setup since we are staying at the quarters. V Sathish Kumar and V Prabhakaran are the ones usually around here doing the work. It is a lot quieter than being in the middle of a big city. You can actually hear the birds outside sometimes while we are sitting at our desks. The office is really just a simple room in the quarters. We have our equipment and a couple of tables. It is very basic and functional. We do not have customers walking in or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks we have been assigned from the Chennai side of the operation. It is a long way from the main hub, but we stay connected through the internet. The air is much better up here in the hills, though it gets quite cold in the mornings during the winter. We do not have any marketing people or fancy logos on the walls. It is just a practical workspace for a couple of people to get their jobs done. Sometimes it feels a bit isolated, but we like the peace and quiet. We keep our own schedules mostly. We have got our tea kettle and a few books for the quiet times. It is an honest way to work.
