Gnanvihar Tuition Centre

Gnanvihar Tuition Centre is situated on Thiruvarur Main Road in Perur. Most people find us by looking for the Panchayath Office, as we are right near there. Being on the main road means it is easy for students to hop off the bus and walk straight in. It can get a little dusty with the road being right there, so we are always sweeping the front area. The building is simple. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of benches and a whiteboard that’s seen better days. We’ve been here in Perur for a bit now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a little, but our routine stays the same. The students come in, put their bags down, and we get to work. It’s a practical space. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that’s not why people come here. They come because they need a bit of extra help with their school subjects. You might hear the buses going by outside while we are working. Sometimes someone forgets their umbrella and has to wait out the rain in the doorway. It’s just how it is. We know the parents and we know which kids are struggling with their exams. There is no big mystery to what we do. We just provide a space and some time to focus on the lessons they find difficult.
