Global Medi Exporters

Global Medi Exporters is based at No. 28 Ramaboyan Thottam in New Thillai Nagar. It’s in the Pappanaickenpudur area. The name "Global" makes us sound like we have a massive skyscraper, but we are actually just in a regular building in a quiet neighborhood. Most of our work is done on the computer or over the phone. We export medical supplies to different places. That means a lot of time spent worrying about shipping containers and customs forms. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. Ramaboyan Thottam is a nice enough place to work from. It isn't as loud as the city center. We have a small storage area where we check the goods before they get sent off to the port. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to spend the whole day explaining it to people. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know the routines by now. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a practical business. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech here. We just make sure that things get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. We just keep at it every day and hope for the best. Some days the internet is slow and it makes the work take twice as long.
