Sri Mathurams Medical Engineering

Our workshop, Sri Mathurams Medical Engineering, is located at No. 404/2B3 in the Cheran Industrial Estate, near Somayampalayam Post. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city center, but it’s where all the industrial activity happens. The space is filled with various tools, metal parts, and specialized equipment that we use every day. It’s not the quietest environment since there is always some machine running or someone using a tool nearby. We have a small team here, and we all wear our work clothes which usually have a few grease stains or dust on them by lunchtime. The office part is just a desk with a computer and a lot of technical manuals stacked up. We don't get many walk-in visitors because of where we are situated, so it’s mostly just us and the occasional delivery driver. The heat can get pretty intense under the industrial roofing, so we keep the big doors open to catch any breeze. We’ve got a routine of starting early to beat the worst of the afternoon sun. It’s a lot of precise work and sometimes we have to spend hours just looking at one piece of equipment to get it right. We don't have any fancy brochures or a glossy front office. We just work here in the estate and try to get through the day’s tasks.
