Githanjali Public School

We have been here at Githanjali Public School in Coimbatore for a good number of years now. Our spot is right near the Codissia Fair Grounds in Peelamedu, which is a pretty busy part of town. Most mornings start with the usual noise of buses and parents dropping off their kids at No 383/1. It is not some fancy, over-the-top setup, just a regular school where we try to keep things organized and moving. The building stays quite busy from the early hours until the final bell rings in the afternoon. We have several teachers who have been with us for a long time, and they know most of the families in the neighborhood by their first names. Sometimes the traffic near the fair grounds gets a bit heavy, but we manage to get everyone inside on time. Inside the gates, it is mostly just the sound of kids in their classrooms or running around the yard during their break. We do not spend much time on big speeches or complicated sets of rules. It is more about the daily work of getting through the lessons and making sure all the kids are where they should be. The playground gets a lot of use every day, and the classrooms are just standard rooms with desks and boards. We deal with the typical stuff like fixing leaky taps or mending benches when they get wobbly. It is just a local school doing its thing in Peelamedu.
