Genpact

Our place is located at 72 MG Pudur 3rd Street, just off Kamraj Road here in Tirupur. If you know the area, you know how busy Kamraj Road gets with all the trucks and bikes moving through. Our street is a little quieter than the main drag, but not by much. The building isn’t new, and you can tell by the way the walls and the floors look, but it serves its purpose for what we do at Genpact. We spend most of our time staring at screens and answering calls. The heat in Tirupur can be quite something in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day long. It’s not a large office, just a few rooms knocked together to make space for everyone’s chairs and equipment. We usually eat lunch at our desks or go to the small canteen down the road. There’s always someone coming or going because the shift timings are a bit staggered for the team. 641604 is our pin code, and the postman knows us well by now because of all the documents that arrive. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and a few notes taped up near the computers. It’s a working office, nothing more. Sometimes the water cooler makes a loud gulping sound that makes everyone laugh during quiet moments. It’s just a normal day for us on 3rd Street.
