Freelands

We are over here at Sri Illam, which is part of the Kuringi Garden area on Thirunagar 2nd Street. If you know Coimbatore, you know how the weather gets sometimes, but this little corner stays fairly quiet for the most part. Balachandrasekar runs things mostly. It’s a simple setup really. People come by and we just talk through what needs doing. We’ve been at number 58 for a while now. The garden outside needs a bit of trimming lately but we haven't found the time with all the paperwork pile-up. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded when people park wrong, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs and the usual office stuff. You might hear the neighbors’ dogs barking during the day. It’s just a regular place where work happens. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the files get a bit messy on the desk when it's busy. Most days are just about answering the phone and checking the mail that comes to the gate. It's nothing too complicated or special, just us doing our bit here in India. We like the neighborhood because everything is close by, even if the traffic on the main road can be a headache in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get on with it.
