Equitas Gurukul Matriculation School

Our school is located at 744/3B, right in Phase II of the CTO Colony on Madhukarai Main Road. Being in Sundarapuram means there is always a lot of traffic passing by, especially heavy trucks heading out of Coimbatore. Equitas Gurukul Matriculation School is a busy place from Monday to Saturday. We have a gate that stays shut during the day to keep the noise out a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and chairs scraping on the floor. We have several floors and the stairs are always full of kids going up and down. The office is right near the front where we handle all the admissions and fees. It gets a bit cramped in there when it’s the start of the term and everyone is asking questions at once. We don’t have a huge playground, but there is enough space for the kids to run around during their break time. The staff tries their best to keep everything running on time, though the bells sometimes ring a minute late. Most of the families who send their children here live in the nearby colonies. It is a very local kind of place. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff the students have made in class. It feels like a real community because we know most of the parents by name when they come to pick up their kids in the afternoon.
