Dhiya Beauty Parlour

You can find us at the HMS Building, shop number 6, on Peelamedu Main Road. We are right in the Sowripalayam area of Coimbatore. If you know the Black Mariamman Kovil, we are basically right behind it. Being so close to the temple means we see all the processions and hear the music during festival times. The shop is a modest space in the building. It’s got everything we need to do our daily tasks. I spend a lot of time on my feet here. Peelamedu is a busy part of town, so there is always a car honking or a bike zooming by outside. We keep the door mostly shut to keep the dust out. Inside, it’s just a normal parlour. We have our regulars who live in the apartments nearby. I like the HMS building because it feels solid. Sometimes I sit by the window when it’s slow and watch people going toward the temple. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just rely on the people who walk past and decide to come in. Coimbatore people are straightforward, and so are we. We do the work, we have a chat, and we go home. It’s a long day sometimes, but being part of Sowripalayam is good. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel familiar. It’s just a local shop doing its thing.
