Our facility is out at No.425/2 on the AVC Saranya Campus in Maavuthampathi Village. It’s near Navakkarai in Coimbatore, so we are a bit away from the main city noise and traffic. The campus is quite large and we have plenty of trees around, which makes the air feel a bit fresher than it does in the middle of town. We work on biomedical projects and technology here, which means a lot of our time is spent looking at small parts and testing different devices. It is a quiet kind of work that requires a lot of patience and focus. There are about fifteen of us who work in the building, and we usually have a quiet routine that we follow every day. The village of Maavuthampathi is a nice place to be, even if the commute for some of us is a bit long on the bus. We have a small lab area and some offices where we keep all our technical drawings and records. Sometimes we have visitors from the local colleges who want to see what we are doing, and we show them around when we aren't too busy with our tests. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team; we just focus on the technical side of things and getting the equipment right. It is a slow and steady process, but we enjoy the work we do.
