Dark Unisex Salon & Tattoo

Dark Unisex Salon & Tattoo is up on the second floor of the Hony Mony Complex. We’re on Sathy Road in Saravanampatti, not far from the Union Bank. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a good space once you get inside. We decided to do both hair and tattoos because that’s what we’re good at. The salon side stays pretty busy with cuts and colors, while the tattoo area is a bit quieter so people can focus. We’ve got a few chairs for the hair work and a dedicated spot for the ink. It’s not the most polished place in Coimbatore, but we like the vibe. We have some art on the walls and there’s usually some music playing in the background. It’s a unisex place, so we get everyone from college students to working professionals coming through the door. Our tattoo artists spend a lot of time cleaning their equipment and making sure everything is ready for the next person. On the salon side, there’s always the smell of shampoo and hairspray in the air. We don’t have a big reception desk; you usually just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a laid-back environment. We just do our work, talk to the clients, and keep things moving. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the variety of jobs we get. Every day is a little different here.
