Corporation Boys Higher Secondary School

This school is right on Trichy Road in the Ramanathapuram area. If you’re driving through Coimbatore, you’ve probably passed it plenty of times. It’s a boys' school, so you can imagine it gets pretty noisy during the breaks. We have students from all over the neighborhood coming here for their higher secondary years. The building has been here quite a bit and it shows in some spots, but it’s sturdy enough. We don't have many frills here. It’s mostly about the classes and making sure the boys are actually in their seats when the bell rings. The teachers are usually busy with piles of notebooks to grade. Since it’s a corporation school, we see kids from all sorts of backgrounds. It gets dusty because of the road traffic outside, but we try to keep the place decent. The playground sees a lot of action in the evenings. We don't do fancy brochures. Most parents just walk in to ask about admissions because they live close by. It’s a plain, straightforward place for education. Nothing more, nothing less. We spend our days managing the schedules and dealing with whatever plumbing or light fixture decided to stop working that morning. It’s a regular part of life in this part of Coimbatore. We just show up and keep the school running for the next generation of boys from the city. It isn't always easy but we get the job done.
