City Of Shakes Private Limited is located at Shop No. 329 on the ground floor of the Balamurugan Building. This is right on DB Road in the RS Puram area, which is always crowded and full of energy. If you know this part of town, you know it is hard to find parking and there are always people shopping. Our shop is not huge, but it is enough room for our blenders and the supplies we need for the shakes. We spend most of the day surrounded by the sound of ice being crushed and timers going off. The floor is tile and we have to mop it a lot because things get sticky pretty fast. There are some posters on the walls that are starting to peel at the edges. It is a loud, busy environment but we have a good rhythm going. Our staff is mostly younger folks who are quick on their feet. We do not have a big corporate office, just a tiny space in the back where we keep the extra cups and straws. The front counter is where everything happens. When the afternoon sun hits the front of the building, it gets quite warm inside, but we have the air conditioning going to keep the milk and fruit cold. It is just a regular spot for people to grab something quick while they are out on DB Road. We keep things simple and just focus on making the shakes one by one.
