You will find us tucked behind Sri Sabari Hostel on Raja Annamalai Cross Road. Saibaba Colony is a nice area of Coimbatore, usually quite lively with people. Number 144 is where we spend our days. It is a very basic setup, nothing flashy or modern. We have a few rooms set up with wooden benches and simple desks. The fans hum all day long to try and keep the afternoon heat away. Kids usually come here right after their regular school is over. It gets quite crowded in the evenings when different batches overlap and everyone is talking at once. We usually grab a quick tea from the small shop nearby while waiting for the next group to arrive. Finding the place is easy enough if you already know where the hostel is. We have been at this specific spot for a good number of years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the kids do not seem to care about that. We just focus on the books and getting the homework done. Sometimes parents stop by to chat for a bit about how their children are doing. It is mostly just us working through math problems or explaining science chapters. The traffic on the cross road can be a bit much during peak hours, so finding a place to park a scooter is always a bit of a puzzle. We keep things pretty informal and relaxed in this building.
