Chakkaravarthi Travel Centre

Chakkaravarthi Travel Centre is located in Ramanathapuram, right on Thiruvalluvar Nagar 1st Street. If you know the area, we are quite close to Tirupthi Mess. It is a local spot and we’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and chairs where we handle the daily travel bookings. People from around the neighborhood stop in quite a bit. They might be looking for a bus ticket or help with a train journey. We just look at the screen and see what is open for them. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, especially around lunch or dinner time because of the mess nearby. We don't use any fancy talk or try to sell people things they don't need. We just provide the information and print the tickets. It’s mostly just us working here, keeping track of the schedules and talking to the regulars. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of the job. We know Coimbatore well and we know the common routes people take from here. It is a steady way to spend the day. We like being in this part of town because the people are friendly and it feels like a real community. Just a normal travel center doing the usual work every day.
