You can find us at Number 47 on Railway Feeder Road in Karaikudi. This part of the Sivaganga district is usually buzzing because of the trains nearby. Our office isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside, but we stay busy inside. People walk in all day long asking about their phone signals or why their internet isn’t working. We sit behind a counter and try to fix what we can. Sometimes the line gets long, especially on Monday mornings when everyone has a problem from the weekend. The noise from the railway station is just something we got used to over the years. We have a small staff here, mostly local guys who know the area well. We talk to the customers in Tamil, and it feels more like a chat than a business meeting. Karaikudi is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of the daily life here now. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the people coming in and out. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone waiting. It gets quite dusty because of the road traffic, so we are always wiping down the desks. It is a practical place. We don’t have fancy posters, just the stuff we need to help people with their mobile connections. It feels good when someone leaves happy. We close up around six most days unless someone is still inside.
