Beaueteck Family Salon & Spa

Working at No 117 on West Sambandham Road is always interesting because R S Puram is such a busy part of Coimbatore. We are Beaueteck Family Salon & Spa and we have been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. If you are looking for the shop, we are right near the Milk Company. You can usually smell the fresh morning air before the traffic really picks up. The salon gets families coming in together, especially on the weekends when parents have some free time. We have a few chairs and some rooms in the back for the spa stuff. It is not a huge place, but we keep it clean. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break between customers. We talk a lot while we work, mostly about local things or how the weather is changing. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast so someone is always sweeping. We do not use any big corporate scripts here. We just talk to people like they are our friends. It gets a bit noisy with the street sounds outside, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. Most of our regular customers have been coming to us for years and they just sit down and tell us what they want without much fuss. It is a simple life and we enjoy the routine of the shop.
