Our branch of Bank Limited is tucked away at 50 A Vivekananda Street in Nethajipuram. This is in the NK Palayam area of Coimbatore, with the pincode ending in 33. Coimbatore has such a nice atmosphere, and our little corner of it is no different. Vivekananda Street is usually pretty calm in the mornings, which gives us a chance to get our files in order before the first customers arrive. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and you can see it in the slightly worn-down floors and the old cupboards we still use. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend money on expensive signs or marketing campaigns. Instead, we just focus on the people who live in Nethajipuram and need a place to handle their money. The staff is local, and we often find ourselves chatting about the weather or the price of groceries while we work. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to filing documents. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy with local festivals or traffic, but mostly it’s a steady place to work. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about regular things. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we just work alongside each other to make sure everything runs smoothly. It’s a decent way to spend the day, serving the community where we actually live.
