Asivadd & Co.

We've been here in Madukkarai for a while now. Being right near the Acc Cement Factory makes it easy for folks to find us, though it does get pretty loud during the day. It’s mostly a busy area with trucks moving in and out all day long. We started Asivadd & Co. because there was a real need for what we do right here in this part of town. Our office isn't one of those fancy glass buildings you see in the city. It’s just a plain, practical space where we get our daily work finished. Most days, we are just busy handling the tasks on our desks and talking to the local people who drop by for a chat or business. The dust from the big factory nearby is just part of our life here. You get used to cleaning your desk three times a day after a week or two. We handle things locally and try to stay on top of what our customers are asking from us. It involves a lot of manual work and checking over papers to make sure everything is right. My brother and I usually open the doors early in the morning before the sun gets too hot to handle. We don't have a big team of people, just a few local guys who know every street in the area. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just keep going anyway. It gets nice and quiet in the evenings once the factory shifts change and the trucks stop.
