Our spot is over in Cheran Nagar, right near the G.N. Mills post office in Coimbatore. It’s a quiet enough part of town compared to the main city center. We spend most of the day talking to people about their policies and trying to make sense of all the paperwork that comes with life insurance. It’s a lot of forms and signatures. Sometimes people come in just to ask questions about their old plans, and we spend a good chunk of time looking things up on the computer. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, chairs for visitors, and usually a fan going to keep the heat down. People in the neighborhood know us as the local insurance place. We don’t really do big advertisements; folks just find their way here or call us up when they need something updated. It’s not always busy, so there are moments where we just sit and talk about what’s happening in the area. The rainy season makes it a bit damp around the entrance, but we try to keep it tidy. It's a steady job. We see a lot of the same faces from around the 17/1 address. It’s just how things work here, helping people figure out their paperwork without making too much of a fuss about it. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now, so we’re basically part of the furniture in this corner of Coimbatore. It is a simple life for us here and we like the pace.
