Anandam Ice Cream

Anandam Ice Cream is situated at No:1 on 4th Street in P.K.N Nagar. Being in Mettupalayam H.O., we get a decent amount of people passing through our doors. The shop is easy to spot once you get onto the street. We started this because we wanted a simple way to earn a living doing something people enjoy. Who doesn't like ice cream when it's hot outside? We keep things pretty basic here. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s just a counter, some storage, and the ice cream we sell. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we know a lot of the people who live on the nearby streets. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked scooters, but it’s generally a nice spot to be. We spend most of our time making sure the machines are running right and the stock is fresh. It’s a small team, usually just a couple of us working at a time. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; everything happens right here on 4th Street. It’s a lot of work keeping things clean and organized, but we stay on top of it. We like the pace of Mettupalayam. It’s busy but not too crazy. People just stop by, grab what they want, and head home. That’s how we like it. Just a steady flow of customers and a quiet place to work. It’s been a good experience for us.
