Ac Masala

We are set up at No: 8/16-A in Vivekananda Nagar, right over in Singanallur. Our place is actually quite easy to find because we are located near the Radharani Theatre. You can often hear the sounds of the movies or the crowds when a big show is on. We spend our days working with spices, so there is always a strong smell of masala in the air around our shop. It is a small operation, nothing too big or complicated. We have a couple of machines for grinding and mixing, and they make a fair bit of noise during the afternoon. The neighborhood is mostly residential but there are a lot of small businesses like ours tucked away in the lanes. We have lived and worked in this part of town for years, so we know the local shops and the people who walk their dogs past our door. Our team is just a few local workers who have been with us since the start. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the masala is prepared the way it should be. The floor is often covered in a bit of spice dust, but that’s the reality of this kind of work. We keep it simple and honest, just like the people in Singanallur expect us to be, and we hope to stay here for a long time as the city grows around us.
