Madhava Murthy Makam

I'm Madhava Murthy Makam. I run things from my home, Sri Nilayam, which is right across from the Sai Baba Temple here in Palamaner. If you know the Madanapalle Road, you've probably seen the temple. Our place is number 6-107. It's a busy stretch of road, especially on festival days when people come to visit the temple. I've lived in Andhra Pradesh my whole life. This setup isn't anything fancy. It’s just a room with enough space for me to work and keep my papers in order. I started doing this a while back because I wanted to stay close to home. Most of the neighbors know me, and sometimes they drop by just to say hello or ask a question. It gets a bit dusty with the trucks going by toward Madanapalle, but we keep the windows shut when it’s bad. Working from here means I don’t have to deal with a long commute to a big city. Everything I need is right here. It's a quiet life mostly, aside from the temple bells and the traffic. I don't use any big fancy equipment, just what's necessary to get the job done right. People seem to find us just fine by using the temple as a landmark. It’s a straightforward way to live and work. I don't see any reason to change it now. We just do our bit every day and hope for the best. It’s how we’ve always done it.
