Impact Mushrooms Llp

Our farm and office are located in Vittalam, which is near Valmikipuram in Chittoor. We grow mushrooms, so our days start very early. Mushrooms don't wait for anyone, they just grow when they want to. We are at No 21 in the village. It is a bit out of the way, but that is better for the mushrooms because they need a specific kind of environment. The air in Chittoor can be quite dry, so we spend a lot of time making sure the growing rooms stay damp and cool. It is a lot of misting and checking the temperature. We use bags filled with hay or other materials to grow them. It is a bit of a messy job, to be honest. You get dirt under your nails and your clothes always smell a bit like damp earth. We aren't a big industrial farm. It is a local setup where we do most things by hand. Picking the mushrooms is the best part of the day, seeing them all lined up and ready. Then we have to pack them quickly because they don't stay fresh for long. We sell them to local markets and people nearby. Sometimes the crop is great, and sometimes we lose a few batches to mold or heat. That is just part of the risk. We don't have a fancy website. We just grow our mushrooms and hope people like them.
