Hafed (Haryana State Co-Op. Supply & Marketing Fedration Ltd.

Down on Gollapalli Road in Chittoor, you will find our Hafed branch. This is the Haryana State Co-Op. Supply & Marketing Federation Ltd., but around this area, most people just know us as the building on the road to Golla Palli. It is a busy place where we deal with a lot of supplies and moving different goods around. We have a warehouse area and a small office where all the paperwork and ledgers get handled. It is not a polished corporate environment at all. There are often trucks coming and going at different hours, and workers moving bags or checking the inventory lists. The floor might have a bit of dust from the moving goods, and the desks are usually piled high with receipts. We manage the distribution of various items that farmers and other local businesses in the region need. It involves a lot of coordination between the different people working here. Some days the pace is a bit slow, but when a big shipment arrives, everyone has to be on their feet to get it sorted. The staff has been working here for years and they know the whole routine inside out. We do not have a fancy reception area for visitors. If you come by, you will likely see us in the middle of a task or talking on the phone about a delivery. It is just a practical part of the supply chain.
