Chambal Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd Gadepan Kota (Raj)

This branch of Chambal Fertilizer and Chemicals is out on Chennai Road in the Basinikonda area of Chittor. It is a bit of a drive from the main town, but that is where the space is for all the supplies we handle. We get a lot of trucks coming through here from Kota and other parts of Rajasthan. The yard is usually full of bags of fertilizer and different chemical containers used for farming. It is a dusty environment, especially when the wind picks up off the road. We spend our days coordinating where the loads need to go and talking to the drivers who stop by. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we manage to sort it out eventually. The office is small and usually smells a bit like the products we keep in the warehouse. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, and the sun can be quite harsh out here on the road. We have a few chairs for visitors to sit on, but they are mostly covered in a layer of grit. It is practical work, focusing on getting the right stuff to the farmers who need it. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and maps of the region. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know the routine by heart. It is just a regular workplace doing its part in the agricultural chain.
