Akid Realestate is located at Plot No. 31 in Ram Nagar. It’s more of a plot-based operation, so we spend a lot of time actually out on the land rather than sitting behind a desk. Ram Nagar is a place that feels a bit more open, though more houses are going up every year. Our spot at Plot 31 is where we keep the records and meet up with people who are interested in seeing what’s available nearby. It’s not a fancy office building, just a practical space that suits the kind of work we do. We walk around the different plots quite a bit, checking boundaries and showing people where things could go. The dust gets on everything, especially in the dry months, but that’s part of the job. We know the neighbors around here and how the land sits. There isn't much of a hierarchy here; we just all pitch in and do what needs to be done. Sometimes we’re just sitting on plastic chairs outside talking to folks who want to know about the area. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we don't see any reason to change it. People come to us because they know we’re actually here on the ground in Ram Nagar every day. It’s a lot of physical work, walking and talking, but it’s what we know.
