Vaishnav Gents Parlour

We are located in the Shivshankar Colony area of Aurangabad. If you know the neighborhood and where the Sayli Beer Bar is, we are tucked right behind it. It is a quiet enough spot away from the main road traffic and the constant honking. The shop is a basic gents parlour, nothing more and nothing less. We have the standard setup with the old-style barber chairs and the electric clippers. It is a small business, just a couple of us working the chairs most days. We spend our time doing regular cuts, shaves, and the occasional head massage when someone asks for it. The colony is a nice place to work, and we know most of the people who live on these streets. We have had the same mirrors and wooden cupboards for a long time. It feels familiar to us and our customers. People usually come in and talk about the local news or whatever is playing on the small television we keep in the corner. It is not a luxury place, just a simple room where men come to get cleaned up. We use regular soaps and shaving creams that you can find anywhere. The floor gets covered in hair, but we sweep it up after every person leaves the chair. Being behind the bar makes it easy for people to find us once they know the landmark. We open early and stay until the lights come on in the colony.
